Mindfulness for Beginners

You may have be entirely new to mindfulness, may have read a book, or perhaps tried to engage with mindfulness using an app. At Mindfulness for Health and Wellbeing we believe establishing a personal practice can be challenging without support from Mindfulness Teachers. We have developed a 4 week course designed to give you the foundations of mindfulness.

During the course we will learn about the benefits of looking after our mind. By connecting with our body and mind through deeper understanding and mindful practices, improvements to our health and wellbeing can be achieved. Mindfulness has been demonstrated to be beneficial in managing a wide range of health concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure and diabetes.

This 4 week programme will provide you with skills, knowledge and understanding of how to start your practice with confidence, in a fully supportive way.

Introduction to Mindfulness

Within this 1 hour session you will be introduced to mindfulness techniques, the science and research behind mindfulness, and why as a man this is important to your health and wellbeing.
