Mindfulness, or paying full attention to the present moment, can be very helpful in improving the cognitive symptoms of depression. These debilitating symptoms include distorted thinking, difficulty concentrating and forgetfulness. Cognitive symptoms can impair all areas of a person’s life. For instance, poor concentration can interfere with your job. Negative thoughts can lead to negative emotions, deepening depression.

Mindfulness for Health and Well Being are one of the leading practitioners of Mindfulness in the UK. They provide training in Mindfulness, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). They also offer Mindfulness for Business and Mindfulness for Effective Leadership.

Courses can be developed to suit a particular need. Mindfulness is recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and supports those living with medical, emotional and psychological challenges including: Chronic Pain, Anxiety, Depression, Cancer, Chronic Illnesses, Stress Related Issues, Eating Disturbances, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Sleeplessness.
